Local Debit Cards are a part of the Bank’s St Helena Pay Service and are available free of charge to all customers and give our Personal and Business customers an improved banking experience.

The transactions you will be able to undertake using your Local Debit Card include:
Use your Local Debit Card to make payment for goods or services purchased from any participating business.
Participating establishments can offer cashback to their customers making payment by card.
Just as you pay automatically for goods or services using your Debit Card, participating business can also refund your payment automatically to your account should you return any goods to them.
This card feature will allow you and your service provider to set aside an agreed amount to reserve the services requested, e.g. a deposit for travel bookings.

Ascension customers can contact the Ascension Branch on (+247) 66123 or AscBranch@sainthelenabank.com to apply for their Local Debit Card. Cards will be sent via mail ship or flights and will be subject to application deadlines.
